“We’re getting strong readings on this one.”

Today it was announced that Jason Reitman is making a new Ghostbusters movie, and there’s already a teaser. Check it our below:
Despite coming a few years after the 2016 reboot, this movie will be a continuation of the original two movies. The iconic cast of the Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stantz, Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore are said to be returning as well. It is currently unknown if Egon Spengler played by the late Harold Ramis will be recast. Filming on this new film in the franchise is scheduled to start later this year with a likely summer release date. The word on the street is that Reitman is currently searching for four teenagers for main roles.
What do you guys think? Are you excited for a new sequel to the original films, or are you disappointed the franchise isn’t going forward with the 2016 reboot?
